ABOUT LUCY

I’m Lucy Drewelow, a photographer and student at ArtCenter College of Design with a passion for film photography and visual storytelling. My work moves between fashion, portraiture, documentary, still life, and landscape, often blending carefully constructed images with spontaneous, everyday moments.

I’m drawn to color, texture, character, and the little details that make a person or place feel unique. I love creating images that feel playful and nostalgic while still having a strong sense of place and personality. Film photography is an important part of my practice because of its tactile process and the way it encourages me to slow down and be intentional with each image.

Alongside photography, I enjoy experimenting with darkroom and alternative processes, including lith printing, cyanotypes, and hand-coated prints. I’m interested in the physicality of making photographs and the unexpected qualities that come from working by hand. Whether I’m photographing a styled fashion story, a portrait, or a fleeting moment in everyday life, I’m always looking for ways to make an image feel honest, expressive, and distinctly my own.

Lucy is based in Los Angeles, CA. For business inquiries, feel free to contact her.
